About the authors: updated in fiscal year 2020

Dr. Basant Agrawal is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SGSITS Indore. With over twenty years of teaching experience, his areas of interests include thermodynamics and heat engines, heat transfer, refrigeration systems, I.C. engines, steam turbines, etc. He has published 35 research papers in various international / national journals and conferences. With a B.E. and M.Tech. from MANIT Bhopal, he is a gold medalist in M.Tech. from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal. He has complete his Ph.D. from IIT Delhi.

Dr. C. M. Agrawal is an ex-Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MANIT Bhopal. With over forty-nine years of teaching experience for UG and PG levels and guiding research scholars, he has published and presented 47 research papers in various international / national journals and conferences. With a B.E. from BIT Sindri, M.Tech. and Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, he received “Best Application Oriented Paper Award” at AIMTDR Jadavpur University.
